Something I'm Reading:

I’m listening to The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter about the idea that we weren’t made to be comfortable. It’s excellent.

Something I Teach

I’ve said it 100 times before, but it needs repeating: success is not a surprise. It’s usually a process that leads to it. For example, in real estate, it’s usually offers made or deals analyzed or leads obtained or potential investors talked to or loans applied for. It’s a process. Set process goals, track your progress, and see results.

Something I Photographed:

Each week I share a photo I snapped in the previous week. Sometimes serious. Sometimes random and funny. Maybe a selfie once in a while. Just because.

White Sands National Park in New Mexico! Stumbled across this super cool place on my road trip!

Something I'm Excited About:

Fund 6 was launched yesterday to our accredited email list and it’s already over 80% subscribed! We will be opening it up to the general public early next week, so get in while you can! Check out odcfund.com/fund6 for more info.

Something I Can Answer:

Question: “Does it make sense to become a realtor to cut costs for investing?”

I think being a real estate agent is a great way to make money as an entrepreneur. However, the majority of agents make almost no money because they are not good enough (plain and simple). So, in my opinion, if you want to be an agent and you are willing to do the work to make good money as a great agent then do it! But don’t do it just to cut costs. The skill level needed to negotiate and sell deals is well worth the cost you pay. Hire the best people and don’t worry about being an agent unless you want to work hard to be a great agent.
